PURPOSE
The Gordian Circle on Geopolitics is an independent, non-partisan forum of practitioners, politicians, diplomats, policy experts, business leaders and mediators with deep experience in international affairs and cross-cultural dialogue.
Its name refers to the Gordian Knot: impossible to untie, resolved by an unexpected solution. The GCG looks for workable paths through geopolitical problems that appear unsolvable.
It goes beyond the analysis of a classical think tank. Drawing on trust-based networks built over decades, the GCG convenes confidential high-level dialogues, strategic roundtables and targeted working groups, opening discreet channels between the relevant parties and developing practical recommendations.
